Horses 101 Reframed: Handling, Psychology, Functionality

Upcoming Horses 101 Clinic:

November 15th - 16th, 2025 - Santa Fe, N.M.

Horses 101 is the clinic we’ve always wanted to teach. This two-day unmounted clinic is extremely practical, richly experiential, and includes a deep dive into strong foundational principles for relational horsemanship for every level. Finding appropriate relationship with horses, and being able to witness horses authentically, is the first step in almost every other process we want to engage them with.

Clinic topics include:

  • the nature of the horse

  • building safety and trust

  • principles of excellent horse handling

  • the importance of movement

  • recognizing and responding to challenges

Start, refresh or hone your skills in understanding, communicating, and collaborating with horses in an environment where where everyone is given agency to collaborate in the process. This clinic is designed for absolute beginners, seasoned horse people, and everyone in between.

November 15th - 16th Horses 101 Clinic hosted at EQUUS at Buffalo Spirit Ranch, Santa Fe, N.M.
